Description

Extended descriptions of each year below:

2006
Age: 9-10
Around here is probably when I first joined YAF. Before I got a proper gallery, I drew some terrible Yoshies on MSPaint on this dinosaur of a computer. I was able to dig up some of my older works from then on the YA gallery, but none went further than 2007. And the old YAF forum is gone and replaced with a new one, those pictures are lost forever. I think maybe some from my gallery on YA are from 2006, but I uploaded them in 2007 so I really don't know what year they're from.

2007
Age: 10-11
Still neck deep in Yoshi Art Forums, I was stuck in a Yoshi phase where everything I drew was Yoshi, but not quite, it was always in this weird style. I had my Yoshi OCs, Jocelynshi, Karnika, and a Kirby OC named Captain Falconeye who was really based off Falco Kirby in SSBM. I also drew a lot of bad gift art for people. u_u; I learned a few life lessons here. Wisenboo was born as a throwaway OC for one RP, left in the dust for another day.

2008
Age: 11-12
This is when I first moved onto deviantART. I accidentally deleted my first picture uploaded here when trying to move stuff into folders, but oh well. I slowly evolved out of my Yoshi phase, and went on iScribble for the first time. I shifted towards Pokemon more as I joined TR's Rockin', then hit a major clash of The World Ends With You and Drawn to Life at the same time, which caused me to draw everything as a Raposa for a while, even worse, TWEWY Raposas. Leigh Mirumoto was born after a series of bad decisions, and I joined an RP group for TWEWY. Later I grew out of that phase and hit a Whirled phase when dA had that one contest with Whirled. I got into it and eventually discovered Corpse Craft, becoming my next major phase. I attempted to utilize a rough sketch, but that didn't go so well, and before I knew it I was drawing free hand again. Pichi Rockafeller was born in this year, starting as a Kawaii OC (that one Whirled game), then a Corpse Craft OC.

2009
Age: 12-13
I got involved in a game called Wizards 101 for a bit and was obsessed with that, but the obsession didn't last long, as I slowly sank back into Whirled. Songs were becoming more of my inspiration at this point, since Whirled had me interacting with songs more than ever. Perri Engarde was born, making his debut as a Whirled avatar. Ergo Dane and Jenna the Space Rabbit were also born, but it wasn't until later that Jenna got her own Whirled avatar. Around here also started an introduction to Vocaloid.

2010
Age: 13-14
I hopped in and out a Pandora Hearts phase and joined a lovely little forum as Emily. I got first wind of Touhou this year after hearing U.N. Owen Was Her? during a Whirled party, Flandre quickly became my favorite. I started doing more sprites because of this, of the Touhou variety. Later in the year I discovered Warioware, and wanted to go deeper into it. I quickly looked for a place I could possibly play as 9-Volt, and that's when I discovered MarioRP-DA, the most life changing experience I've experienced. As 9-Volt wasn't available, I went for 18-Volt, and later Josie Rosario was born after a series of bad decisions. Wisenboo saw the light again, and returned as Feris van Wisenboo. After great interest in the Nyanian/Arfian/Tanookian species by ~Fruit-san, Inaba-san was born, the first member of the Usagians. After some interest in the Beanish and traits of an old OC floating around begging to be used again, Beanish Ditz was born, and then replaced Venomamillia Ditz as the only Ditz. Jessica Rosario was born after more bad decisions.

2011
Age: 14-15
Interests of mine floated around as I ran with the MarioRP gang. Touhou, Higurashi, Homestuck, and just OCs in general. Whirrowitz was born, along with Silverbells, Cockleshells, Contraria, Horace, Gloria Spectre, Esmeralda, Tobias, and Theo. I practiced with perspective mostly, and discovered Paint Tool SAI later in the year. I also got a Tumblr around the end of summer and started taking Art. This was the year of the dreaded 30 Character challenge, but fortunately I was seen through by Carrie Luxure, Flora and Raul Dysernio, Thoreau, Dean and Alco Croik, Shank and Rich Alamo, Noel Rhine, AJ "Joe" Avery, Miranda and Miraka, Catherine Fortunate, Jean Croik, Ariel, Hosc Atylo, the Electric Girl, Sasha Mafigoro, Harvey Ride, Janice Granz, Marshall Montblanc, Lord Rosario, Exel and Shia, the Uchillin, Pan Umbekyoku, Kent Patches, Freedom Flare, Sid Salts and Paul Peppers. I also practiced painting with SAI.

2012
Age: 15
As MarioRP declined, I got involved with Homestuck a bit more, but it never really became a phase. I was still drawing MarioRP OCs. And then it happened. I got into Skullgirls. Before I knew it Peacock became most of my drawings, and with the re-do of Pearl in a Dress, Toontown glinted in the future bright. After a lucky sketching of Miyau and a presentation by a Disney animator, I decided to give the rough sketch another try. And it worked. I delved deeper into the world of Skullgirls and Tumblr simultaneously, and somehow became fandom famous as the captain of the S.S. Cocktail. I tried painting more in SAI, which soon declined into a spot of neon pictures. Anatomy improved by a lot with the rough sketch working out. Before I knew it I'd dove back into Toontown as well.

Here's to the rest of 2012 and 2013 to come!
